A family of four, two adults and two young children, smiles and laughs in front of the art studio

Hello!

We're the Little Blue Studio team.

Little Blue Studio is an art studio based in Lee’s Summit, growing little artists in the greater Kansas City area by blending art and nature to create enriching camps, classes, and events.

It all started with a couple’s dream to utilize their backgrounds in art, counseling, and t
herapy (physical & mental) to create a safe space for kids and adults to
reconnect with themselves through art and nature.

Every activity for the kids, from art classes to nature walks to animal experiences, is planned with social emotional development in mind, using the world around us to help them learn and process. Our art camps and classes teach real skills to grow each student as an artist and as a unique individual. Fill out an inquiry form to sign your child up for a class or plan your next private event.

FAQ

  • What services do you offer at Little Blue Studio?
We offer a range of classes and camps, including kids art camp and various creative workshops. Keep an eye on our Instagram page for upcoming workshops!
  • Is your space available to rent for private parties?
Absolutely! We offer private event packages for birthdays and other special occasions. Contact us for more details and customization options.
  • How can I sign up for a class or camp at the studio?
Fill out an inquiry form here on our website and we will get back to as soon as we can. Space can be limited, so filling out the form does not guarantee a spot. But we always have new events and classes being added to the schedule, so keep an eye out for more artful fun!
  • Do I need to be an artist to participate in your workshops?
Not at all! Our workshops are designed for individuals of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, you'll find our sessions enjoyable and accessible.
  • Is there parking available near the studio?
The studio is connected to our house, but we ask that you please park in the designated area for the studio rather than our driveway. There is a mulch lot for parking directly in front of the studio. If you're having trouble finding your way, feel free to stop by the house for directions!
  • How big is the space?
Inside our studio the space is approximately 450 sq ft, with double doors that open to a covered patio for additional room. Perfect for small parties and gatherings! There is also a front yard to the studio that can be used for outdoor activities.
  • What kind of animals are there?
We have chickens, ducks, sheep, and a pony. You may even see our barn cat wandering the property as well. We hope to add bunnies into the mix soon!
